Just thought I would put out an offer. If there are books that you want in PBB format but do not have the tool, I will try to assist you with the conversion part. What I would ask of you:
1. Provide a Microsoft Word or OpenOffice Writer formatted document. Use the Header Styles to define the chapters and headers that you want in the book.
2. Provide at least one Internet URL that shows that the work is in the Public Domain.
3. Provide the reference (Internet URL if possible) of where the text came from; I want to be sure to credit the proper sources.
4. Provide the Title, Author, Language, Copyright (or public domain), Publisher, and optionally a description to be placed into the book's metadata.
If you are able to put this information and resource together that would mean very little work on my part. This should result in at most a one week turnaround on your PBB. If you are having trouble with one or more of the items above, I can try to help as time allows - but it would probably slow things down a little.
Anyway, the offer is made. :)

I'm sure I'll be taking you
I'm sure I'll be taking you up on your offer as I get more & more of my material converted over in PBB ready format. I'll use the PBB Builder tool that's been on the Logos newsgroups to tag the document, plus give you all the metadata you need (even cover images) so the final result will look good. Glad to know someone's out there who can compile PBB's for me when I need it.
By the way, will you need
By the way, will you need Word files in .doc or .docx? I can easily send either.
Thanks!
Nathan
RE: Word files
Probably the .doc format. What tool do you refer to for tagging? Would the tags still exist inside of Word, or is that an HTML based tool you refer to?
BTW, HTML files would probably be good also - especially if all you want me to do is compile and not review at all. The Word doc will first get converted to HTML before compiling to PBB.
Version of Word for PBB
Can I continue to use Word 97 and "save as HTML"? The resulting HTML code using Word97 is plain and simple compared to anything produced by Word 2000 or newer.
RE: Version of Word for PBB
If specifically for providing to me to compile....
1. If you will not be marking the file up in the HTML, please provide any version of Word from 2003 or earlier. I could probably find converters for more recent, but 2003 or older would be no work. :)
2. If you need to markup the HTML before providing, then the save as HTML should be sufficient.
Also note that I have used the OpenOffice format also if you are looking for a free Linux/Windows option.
Other formats and legality
I'm new here and I'm sorry if this question has been asked.
The web site "http://septuagint-interlinear-greek-bible.com/" has the Septuagint (interlinear greek-english-strongs) available from download in PDF. The full link to the DL is "http://www.apostolicbible.com/downbook.htm?pdf=OldTestament.pdf".
Obviously a version of the apostolic bible, which is for sell. My question is three... can you import a PDF into Libronix? Can a PDF be converted to PBB? Can this file be legally used in this way?
In Christ Jesus,

RE: other formats and legality
The PDF format cannot be directly converted to the PBB format. It would first need to be converted to an HTML format thru some tool that provides the expected output.
Regarding legality, for anything that is in the copyright laws - I would assume a formal letter of rights being granted to reproduce would be required to convert copyrighted works to PBB.
Doc ffiles converted to PBB format
I have created Oliver B Greene's "The Revelation" and want to send it to you for PBB conversion. Where do I send it?
RE: PBB Build Contact
I just wanted to mention that I am in contact with clklock regarding his request here. I am trying to build a drop box for resources to be sent when you are ready and will update you when I work something out.
Links to MANY documents
The link below takes you to MANY documents that are waiting to be converted - many of which already exist in .doc or .xml format. I am very interested in seeing the John Calvin and John Edwards docs coverted to PBB. If I had the writing tool addin I would begin converting them myself.
