There are certainly a few
There are certainly a few sections in Jeremiah and Ezekiel which I skip right over when reading to my kids. In fact, in reading Genesis with my (very young) son there are whole chapters I've skipped, (like the Rape of Dinah or Sodom and Gomorrah). I don't feel in any rush to destroy that little guys innocence on those issues. Remember that the Bible was written to adults. It was also commanded that we talk about it's precepts all day long (Deut. 6) throughout our daily experiences with our families.
I can certainly talk about people being betrayed, and getting revenge versus letting God take the vengeance. And I can talk about Not loving people the way God wants us too.
