Only One Truth

"In my opinion, there's no way God looks at things from 14 different angles. I see God as knowing only one truth, and that's it. There's no other opinion about it. And I want to know what that one truth is. Everyone can sit around and have their manly and earthly opinions about things, but I doubt there's much debate going on in heaven. I'm trying to find whatever that singular truth is in any particular topic."

A start, but not a finish

While it's certainly true that God's perspective is an unchanging one, people can go all sorts of ways looking for it without ever finding it. I've been listening to Pilgrim's Progress, and it has reminded me that the road is narrow. Like the characters Talkative and Ignorance, one can come quite close, can have excellent and even Biblically-based arguments and still miss the mark. An unfocused search for the singular truth is not sufficient.

We have the words of God in the Bible. That's where the search must take place. And thanks be to God!

Nothing pejorative intended towards Jack White, since I know little of him except that he likes to wear red and white.
