How can I get PBB books to show up in the Libronix Passage guide?
One of the limitations of PBB's is that they do not automatically integrate with the passage guide. You can build a book which happens to be a commentary, but the coding for declaring it such to the program is not included in the PBB file. In other words, Libronix doesn't know if a PBB is a bible, commentary or an issue of Readers Digest. But don't fear, there is a solution!
Collect Your Books

First you need to create a collection of your PBB's you want on the passage guide.
Go to Tools > Define Collections Select NEW and name your collection anything you want such as "PBB books"
Then scroll through your list and add the PBB's you want in that collection.
Now you need to add that new collection to your passage guide.
Passage Guide Integration
Open your passage guide and click properties. A dialog opens up which enables you to choose what you want to have appear on your passage guide. There are two options now. At the very top you can choose now which collection shows up for commentaries and there you could select your PBB commentaries. This isn't a bad idea if you've been able to get every commentary into the collection, but what if you missed one? I prefer to just create a PBB group and put relevant PBB's in there. Keep the commentary section default and activate your PBB's further down.

The next time you generate a passage guide your PBB's will appear there.

Thank you!
So, tonight I learned something new: Passage Guide's. I can see how this will be beneficial. Thanks to everyone for all the work and information that is being put together here!
Need help making this work
New to Logos (bought scholar silver last month)...I followed the directions but can't seem to get the pbb's to load in my passage search. For instance....added the Glascow Pulpit Commentary on Psalms. When I search Psalm 19:12 it won't show up in my PBB under passage search but will show up if I change the properties under commentaries to show PBB rather then unlocked resources....what am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

To clarify: you've made the
To clarify:
you've made the collection.
The collection displays the GlascowPC in the commentaries section when your collection is selected
the same collection elsewhere on the report doesn't work? wow, I'm afraid I just don't know what the problem could be. This must be part of the shortcoming with PBB's. Yet I haven't seen it before.
Yup....
I've put the GlascowPC-Psalms in my PBB file but it won't show up in a passage search under PBB's it will only show up under commentaries if I change the default commentary to say PBB file (I tried a psalm that I knew was covered in the GlascowPC-Psalms). Could there be some sort of "marking" or "label" built into the GlascowPC that forces it only to work when pbb's are selected and not the default commentaries in the commentaries portion of the passage guide property section? I think I'll download another one and see if it does the same thing.
Quick follow up
Added the GlascowPC - New Testament to my pbb file, then defined collection and added it to the pbb collection. Same results. Searched a passage that should show up in in the PBB section of a passage search. Wont show up there but it will show up when I change the default to pbb instead of all unlocked commentaries in the commentary section. Downloaded Gill's expostion of the entire bible and it will show up in the pbb section. It will also show up when I change the default from unlocked commentary to pbb's
Any ideas?

It has to be tagging
I'm guessing then that it has to be the tagging in the source before it's compiled.
And now it's time for someone with the builder to step in and answer the question.
PBB Commentary Troubleshooting
If you would like to send two files to me I can try to compare to mine to see what is different. For your PBB there will be a *.opf file and a this.metadata.xml file. I might be able to see something in there - but at the moment I have no thoughts.
Whoops
I just noticed that these files are actually "owned" by joekreif. As such, he is probably best suited to answer on this question.
Commentaries
Here is what I did. Under the commentaries section of the properties in the passage guide you can put whatever collection you want. I made a "commentary" collection in which I placed all my PBB commentaries as well as all of my LDLS commentaries so they all show up in the first section of the passage guide. The only drawback I see is you will no longer have your "top 5" on top, they will be arranged alphabetically. I really like having access to all my commentaries in one place.
